Michael Welch Co. is a design practice in Portland, OR.

After years of working full-time at agencies, I've decided to shift my focus and instead work within my own freelance practice.  

My aim is to keep things lean - focus on craft and clients. Grow organically. Ultimately, I want to work collaboratively to build brands and elevate product.

For the past 2 years, most of my time has been spent as a contract Art Director at KEEN Footwear.  However, I’m always open to full-time opportunities, whether in Portland or beyond.

In particular I'm seeking projects in the craft beer/spirits and culinary industry. However, I'm open to any/all opportunities.

MW Co. specializes in branding/identity, package design, illustration and campaigns. Additionally, I can help with Squarespace (and the like) sites.
